oh then I have bad news. Baleno cars were reported to have turbo and intake related issues triggering lean conditions. AMW send those cars to Demo as well. Some were fixed after turbo changes and sometimes these issues were very hard to diagnose / fix. Check with AMW if you have any contacts.

Pretty sure there are more than 2-3 million Swifts and Balenos with the 1L boosterjet on the road globally (FronX has sold 400K+ units since 2023)

If there were any inherent issues with these engines it would have been a heavily discussed topic online by now

While centuries old manufacturers still make flawed engines I feel it's a bit too optimistic to say indian engines are all good. Time will tell. But for that to work people need to of course purchase these and trial run. Same goes for BYD like cars.

It's not about the manufacturer but the engine itself which has been on the market for a decade (2015 - present) wdym "time will tell" when talking about a 10 year old engine 🥹
