Thanks to stupid tax in Sri Lanka buying a Jimny is worthless. You only will buy the 660cc version which is totally useless for an offroad vehicle. Jimny is overpriced in other countries too due to popularity

brand new/low mileage unregistered. I wanted to buy this back in 2018 and went to few dealers but since it's difficult to get into the back seat and the smaller size I bought a Vitz instead. I still wants to buy the 5 door version but it's not available (i think due to pricing). 660cc is really underpowered for an offroader

Ados nice to know. I will visit them. Really appreciate for the update. I hope it isn’t a slightly longer lunch box. However for just 3M more we can get a Yaris Cross

I am going to buy one of these (Jimny GLX 3 door) for my youngest son who turns driving learning age next month. He wants to learn manual, but there are not many options available in the market (Australia). This car does not tick all the boxes, but no alternatives either. Obviously it got a be manual, must be Japanese (I am still not trusting Korean/Chinese or Indian cars) and suits a young boy. Jimny's safety rating is not high, 1500 cc engine is gutless, too compact for real end collision, high center of gravity/small footprint combination are the cons I have to compromise. There are only 2 manual ones available at the nearest agent. If the agent cant get one in his preferred colour before his birthday, we have to compromise the colour too and choose one from ex stock .
