I am reminded of a homily on a mother's love.
A little boy fell into an open well, and all efforts by the neighbours to rescue him failed. None dared to jump into the well to save him, as the well was very deep. Before the boy took his last breath and sank into the deep water, they heard him plead " PLEASE CALL MY MOTHER "
