before make the purchase see the resolution as most of the LCD monitors in the market comes with low resolution (1440 x 900) or less and sometimes its not enough if you are doing graphics/animations.

I have the same issue here as I'm looking for a LCD monitor which has at least 1600 x 1200dpi, but still couldn't find a suitable one

if you want watch high quality HD movies & HD gaming go for 1920*1080 dpi monitor. but it will cost you more than a normal wide screen monitor & also get a monitor of about 19"

i don't know about samsung coz i'm using a dell monitor. but i think it will be better to get a somewhat large monitor with good resolution
