There are much better ACER laptops than this i guess.If you have a budget around 70 000 go for a ACER one.I bought a laptop 3 years back and it works fine except da prob in battery( it is a common problem ) .Coz it is cheap and worth 2 hav.I dont thnk HP is a good option at this price range.

hp compaq is good.. been using it for 3.5 yrs nw.. ( done some upgrades though eg: ram n hdd)

from that list..cq40 or the acer one seems good.. not the compaq c733 (one on top)..specs r old..

I'd suggest you go for the Acer one . . . compared to HP and Toshiba which tends to give unwanted problems from time to time . . an Acer one is easy to maintain and use. There should be better models out there from Acer . .check them out too.
Curious that u'r gonna choose an OS other than Windows But that is appreciated if u can manage it.

kolla man gatte nam denata 1yr udadi, me weddi adu wela ethi, den enne dual core/core 2 duo ne...ewa patta performance ethi.
Mage nam single core, but ASUS ne, still patta, ganna eke honda ekak ganin, man gatte 79000 ta, den adu ethi balapan

Toshiba ganna epa ban, man 1year weda kala toshiba ekaka, charter ban, slow kiyanne amba slow, HP th honda ethi man hithanne, but havent used..

ASUS tikak ganan thama...Acer ganna epa...kohomath HP valata wada mama danna widiyata Toshiba hodai...Eth Toshiba valath categories thiyenava..Evva kohomada manda...Toshiba,Asus,Dell,HP kiyana models valin balanna...
Mata DELL ekak tikak aduwata hamba vuna 88,000 kata...

2.0 Core 2 Duo

E hinda Dual core thiyena DELL ekak poddak balapan....Aduwata hamba vei..
