I am curious  I want to know what prevent you folks from doing bad things, such as hitting, kicking, killing others , hurting people when you were provoked. Law and angry victims are all you have to worry about.
Imagine that you are driving a vehicle and you accidentally hit a person hard, possibly to death. The place is deserted and you absolutely sure that no one saw. What would you do. you don't have to worry about law or anything.

Common sense and decency I should think.. There's also the law of the land.

If the guy is surely dead. I would flee of course if I am sure that I could get away without a trace. Staying and going to the police won't help the dead man or me.

If the man was alive, I would get him to a hospital of course. I go with my conscience.

It does. It does. It surely does. It would surely haunt me for years. But what good does it do if I stayed?? I'd go to prison. That's what's gonna happen.
for one, your conscience would be clear. Also, unless you purposely ran the guy down, you will not be looking at a murder or manslaughter charge. So chances of doing time is rather low.

however, your response brings up a bigger question. Has the value of human life gone so low that you can live with it just by staying out of prison ?

dig a bit on law ul find the concept of law n order was based n evolved on human values. there was no such ting as a law in adam n eve's times it is a set of rules & practices we are bounded by to sustan wellbeing of the humankind. so the law is in u.. as humans we all must have self decipline & values, but if the way u act maked another human unconfortable.. then all these documents laws comes to play.. as they say the length u can wave ur stick ends at the next persons nose..

Also no religion or a race has the right to harm another human being or a group in the name of any god or its leaders. & there might be no such a documented law against harming animals..but as conscious humans with values we all must know what is right & what is wrong in the world.. People who follow a religion which teaches to kill humans & animals are a utter disgrace to the entire humankind!
