To speed up torrents

By this method u can use all ur band width for torrents. but ur Internet browsing speed may noticebly slow during the torrent runs.

first read ur router manual to cheak weather it's supports NAT PORT MAPPING.

then go to

run>>type "Cmd" then hit enter
at cmd type "ipconfig\all"
in opened window look for ur IP Addrress, router ip address, DNS servername. sub net mask
make a note of these things. and exit Cmd.

and then go to network connection on ur PC go to properties. select TCP/IP connection >>>> properties

and then make a static IP as it appears. using earliar noticed parameters. then close.

then log on to ur router configuration page.
go to "NAT" OR "VIRTUAL SERVER FUNCTION"

ASSIGN A port number between 15000-60000 .
add router ip addrress as primary.
add PC ip addrress as secondery.

and save the settings.
and reboot router. if needed PC too.

after that goto ur torrent client add the port u specify earlier to the primary port in the client.

then goto ur firewall add exception of torrent client and TCP and UDP transfers.

u may get around 58-60 KBps on ur 512 kbps slt adsl.

Use BitComet ... Feel the Differenece ... eken thama mama ara speed eka ganne ... thawa eke settings poddak ehata mehata karaganna oni echcharai ....
