The Yaris Hybrid-R is a 420 hp, all-wheel drive, TMG-tuned hybrid hatchback. TMG, or Toyota Motorsport GmbH, has developed a 1.6-litre, 300 hp turbocharged four cylinder engine, which drives the front wheels. It has been designed to meet FIA regulations for a Global Race Engine, which sounds like a definite hint at a racing future for this little concept. The all-wheel drive part comes from two 60 hp electric motors, which drive each of the back wheels, creating a total hybrid system output of 420 hp
