the simple truth is there's no such thing as depression. take a building for an example. let's say experts on constructions said this building is useless. no one bats an eye and in few weeks time the building is demolished.

similarly u are the expert on your life. no one understands u better than u do. yet u are not allowed to see and express the uselessness and meaninglessness of ur life. say i'm a waste of space and next moment u would find urself labeled as mentally ill and doctors drugging u into stupidity.

people think we have leaved behind the dark ages where the freedom to express one's thoughts used to be a crime. yet here we are in another dark age where the freedom to express one's thoughts are considered not a crime, but a symptom of mental instability.

after all it's psychology which claims average citizen is stupid. try to deviate from this stupidity and shortsightedness and u will find urself in the hands of doctors drugging u back into stupidity.

if psychology was practiced 2600 years ago, i'm certain they would have labeled prince gautama as depressed and he would have gone through all those gibberish called therapy with some cunts who would call themselves psychotherapists. they would have said chill dude, we all rot and die. that's what life is. don't think about it. just join the club, rot and die.

the truth is those therapists don't give a fuck about u or ur life. they are paid to tell u fables like how important u are, y u matter and things like that. if it's what u are seeking, delicious pebbles covered in chocolate in different colors, just keep going. u will never find the bitter truth.

I'm pretty sure depression is carried through genes too.May be because of generations of depressed people. The memory is carried forward. Now the body has it's own memory of depression. Its puting out depression symptoms for no reason at all.But 90%of them are self made

Depression is still the ego.I should not exist.Still there is an I.Its still an illusion as much as happiness

I think depression occurs when you have to confront circumstances in life which you didn't expect. For example not getting the expected result from your exam:(. Not leading the married life you thought you deserve or expected. Not living in your ideal neighborhood. Finally not living your life as you expected it to be. So I think it's better to keep very low expectations out of your life and accepting whatever you are given in life. Even the great lord buddha have preached this concept. But on the flip side it's very hard cause we as human beings are very hard to satisfy......

no there is a deeper level depression where one realizes that there is no point in death too.

Yeah that's what I'm saying. It is the ego.Now it's totaly confused.ego realizes no point on death too.Now it is in an empty void.It is the state buddha said to be cafefull about. It is a state of consiouness without any directed consiousness.I don't know if i put it right. After death youll be in a state of arupa loka where you spend kalpas without a form and gain back consiousness and again reborn as a being. It is not realization at all

I think it's feel emptiness of the life. No hopes. When you feel you dont have anything to make you happy dont have any hopes to make you happy. Just feel empty and sad. :dull:
