When you buy UPS Battery (AGM VRLA ) go for the 10 years design life batteries, you will find 5 years also available, design life doesn't mean warranty....

best brands are YUASA , EXIDE , Panasonic...but they are expencive...cheaper brands are CSB, Rocket ...

Be careful when you buy these chinese batteries...VRLA batteries are hazardous and may explode,spill and damage your other equipments also...

If you can tell me the capacity of the UPS and the runtime you require? i can provide you what's the best option of batteries to buy, you maybe able to save lots on how you design the batteries... but all depends on the size of your UPS ? if its a small unit then dsnt matter what you put in....

Machan my UPS is 5KVA one, it has 20 battery pack.. i tried to find good batteries, but its difficult to find non chinese batteries, thank you for your reply, pls help me..

You can use 20 nos of 12V/9AH batteries for 10 Minutes and if you need more add another 20 batteries, i guess each string is 20 batteries for your UPS...whats the Brand?

Super Neat Technology (as per the rocket website) has Rocket batteries from Korea or Taiwan, i have personally used them(rocket Batteries) and we continue to use them in our all major projects, they have 10 year design batteries and if looked after well you will not have a headache for minimum 5 years...
