Very Slow Home Network Sharing

Our PC & the laptop are connected to "TP-LINK - TDW8950ND" router. I can open folders shared by PC from my laptop. But when I try to copy something from PC to laptop, it shows very slow speeds like "23 KB/s". I don't know what I did, but only one time I could copy a movie file very fast within seconds. I'm using Win 7 Ultimate on both computers. Can someone help me to sort this out?.

I tried a lot to figure out. I'm not sure what's the reason. There might be nothing big, but the problem is that I just couldn't find it.

No, but BitDefender Total Security 2013. Have tried to change some settings there too.
