Starting at 40K as I know.

it sholud be less than 20 for beginners.
after 2 year experience you can go around 25 -30

Not sure they will give more than 30 as basic. Even an average system developer, which to my knowledge takes marginally higher salary takes around 30

so vertusa will hardly pay a normal QA over 40

Salary is vary, If you have previous experience or if then think you are suitable for the position you can demand for 40 or even more. Otherwise it will be below 30 because Dev basic salary is 35

well it depends , they decide the salary based on performance (not specifically talking about QA but should be the same procedure )
They might take you for a average salary but if he is good enough , after about 6 months they raise it to 60-80 ! (totally depends on the person and his language skills)

I have 3 examples
1. 6 months intern as a QA in virtusa and they hired him permanently for 28
2. hired for 30 and raised it to 60 within 6 months
3. hired as an intern for 1 year raised it to 80

I too heard they are all about sucking everything out from employees. It's for a friend of me, and he's expecting to get at least 80k. Looks like I have a bad news for him.
