windows 7 has the same kernel of vista, most of security issues of vista been fixed in 07. and it consumes a lower RAM than windows vista.

I Used Vista Ultimate. bt sm sftwares didn't wrk & cn't v..th Vista. so I cmbk 2 XP...
I didnt use Win7...Bt I ll do...Nw I think XP is bst.. Also Vista Eating MEM....

but if you are playing games. and you have a vga card installed seperatley, you have to use vista since it is the only platform that direct x 10.01 supports.
