The Corner Shot is a gadget that resembles an automatic weapon that allows you to mount many types of hand guns to the front of it and with its bending feature, thru a small lever under the gadget it can bend the Corner Shoot around the middle, it allows you to shoot the gun around a corner without exposing yourself at all. The Corner Shot has a mounted camera allowing you to see around the corner of a structure without exposing yourself and it also allows you to aim and shoot your weapon as well.

Imagine yourself in a war zone and your enemy is using the buildings around you as cover. Every time you reach a corner you risk exposing you head and face to see if there are enemies around it. Not with the Corner Shot, just mount you weapon, say 50 Magnum, use the lever to bend the Corner Shot, use the mounted camera to look around the corner and if enemies are located just aim and shoot before you even move around the corner. Use it to look thru windows, holes in the walls, above walls, inside sewer holes before even showing your face.

The Corner Shot can mount a variety of handguns. It can also be adapted to larger weapons such as a specially designed M-16 with all the same features but smaller. It even has a grenade launcher. Now this is what I call seeing into the future.

The F-22 Raptor is an American fighter aircraft that utilizes stealth technology. It is an air superiority fighter, but is equipped for ground attack, electronic warfare and signals intelligence roles as well. The F-22 is a critical component of the US Global Strike Task Force.[5]

Faced with a protracted development period, the prototype aircraft was variously designated YF-22 and F/A-22 during the three years before formally entering United States Air Force service in December 2005, as the F-22A. Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is the prime contractor and is responsible for the majority of the airframe, weapon systems and final assembly of the F-22. Along with Lockheed Martin, partner Boeing Integrated Defense Systems provides the wings, aft fuselage, avionics integration, and all of the pilot and maintenance training systems.[6]

    JDAM

JDAM stands for Joint Direct Attack Munition -- the joint referring to the Air Force and Navy, the two branches of service that use it. The kits, built by Boeing Integrated Defense Systems, consist of a tail section that attaches to the rear of either a 2,000 or 1,000 pound bomb. A kit for a 500 pound bomb will be released later this year. The kit has four fins -- one is fixed and the other can be moved to position the bomb. There is also a small structure that wraps around the mid section of the bomb to provide stability. The kit itself costs about $20,000 plus the cost of the bomb.

The JDAM is controlled by a small computer that uses a Motorola PowerPC processor -- the same processor used by Apple in the Power Macintosh. The software is loaded by Boeing before the device is shipped but the devices are tested and, if necessary, updated before they are loaded onto the aircraft, according to a Boeing spokesman.

That onboard computer is attached to an Inertial Measurement Unit or IMU. The IMU tracks the movement of the bomb after it leaves the aircraft and updates the computer as to its exact whereabouts. To assure accuracy there is also a Global Positioning System or GPS unit that uses satellites to track the location of the bomb which is used to update the Inertial Measurement Unit.

Prior to launch the bomb's computer is in sync with navigation systems onboard the aircraft. During this period the bomb's Inertial Navigation system is tested against the aircraft's navigation systems to be sure it's tracking accurately. Airborne computers also check the status of the bomb's batteries and other systems. Any failures will disable the bomb, requiring the crew to replace it with another unit.

Once the bomb is launched it takes about 30 seconds for the Global Position System to get a fix on its exact location. From there, the GPS, Inertial Measurement Unit and the onboard computer send signals to bomb's three movable fins to make any necessary adjustment to guide the bomb to its target.

A B-52 drops a load of bombs in this file photo, date unknown. Gen. Richard Myers, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, said 15 land-based bombers _ including Air Force B-1 Lancers, B-2s and B-52 long-range bombers as well as carrier-based strike aircraft struck military targets
