Machang this is true... I'm studying in the UK right now and it'll take me about 3 years to cover the cost of studying here if I work here. Working in a foreign country is a good thing, you learn things you cannot learn in Sri Lanka. But this also depends on the type of work.

What you then do is export this knowledge to Sri Lanka and use it here and you will definitely be ahead. Again this depends on what type of work.

Another plus point is because you earn foreign exchange for the country.

Entrepreneurship with a heart to help people who have ability to do more but no means to do so, specially in our rural areas is an aim of mine. I'm not too sure how I'm going to achieve this as of yet, but it's something I hope to do someday. :D

Machang mage thatha 1980 ganang wela Saudi Arabiawe oil company ekake wade kare.. aya gihin lanka wete aith awata passe samara aiye eke eke kunu katha kiyane gatha, gederak wath hariyate naha kiyala... he didn't come back and make a house like most of his fellow Sri lankans who went abroad and came back at that time, instead he started his own company and invested what he earned and now he's doing better than all the people who said things about him.

Umbate athetema sure nathang, panina epa... mola pawichi kerala wadak karoth hariyai... So many stories, I know about people who went abroad. There's a very famous doctor, I know his son, when he went abroad for some work, his first night he slept in a train station. Now he's a very well respected doctor. There's nothing you can't do if you set your mind to it.

What ever you decide to do, wish you good luck.
