this is like a million years old...
But to tell u the truth in certain power levels on conroe and wolfdales nothing will happen even if u remove the heat sink...that means on the lowest possible clock and the lowest possible voltage 1600Mhz and abt 1VOlts...

In this case AMD wins over Intel.They can hold more.That is in the early 2008 by tomshardware as I remember.
