In the recently held presidential elections the previous president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad was reelected, but the people claim that he rigged the polls and the election results are fraudulent. So they started protesting on streets, then the government, police and an extremist religious paramilitary group named Basij started to beat down and terrorize those protesters .
