    If you really want the best audio experience, forget about digital, CDs, FLAC, WAV, etc and go analog. High quality LP records are still unbeatable by any digital media.

    no. i mean the best audio format which can play on computer..:P:P
    i don't forget them.....cause i can't go enough like analog.:lol::lol::lol:

    hey,
    i don't care about size & paid.
    i just want to know which is the best one of them...
    can you tell me or isn't there something like that...?????

    Machan as I said earlier theoretically there will be no difference between any lossless format in terms of quality. That's why they are called loss less(no loss) :yes:.

    So if you really can't decide still, do a research about the file size, compatibility, price, support, etc before choosing a format. Specially the file size because you have to sacrifice a huge storage space.

    for FLAC there are readily available codecs that can be downloaded from internet totally free. I have no experience with other codecs.

    Yes, definitely you'll have to have a very good sound system + a very good sound card to feel the difference. otherwise you are sacrificing your hard disk space for nothing.

    this is what i m talking about not mp3

    Developed by IBM and Microsoft, WAV stands for ‘waveform’. This file format does not compress audio. Understandably, WAV files take up a sizeable chunk of the storage space on your disk! However, this lossless format assures you of CD quality audio that can be used for broadcasting, or distributed through DVDs and CDs. An added advantage is that the WAV format is easy to transform and compress into MP3 or other formats if the need arises. And importantly, it runs on any Windows or Mac systems as well as most web browsers. So, if space crunch is not a problem, consider the WAV format to store and distribute music. File extension .wav.
