Oh sorry.......didn't see what u mean.......7900 is better........8600 is a mainstream card where the 7900 is a performance card..........even if 8600 has DX 10 7900 is a kick ass performer compared to the 8600 performance specs.....

    So ur saying 7900 is better. but 8600 clk speed is higher.

    Are you saying you can buy a 7900GS (GT? GTX?) for the same price as a 8600GS(GT? GTS?)

    Performance wise 7900 is a clear winner. But if you can go for a 7900, I don't see why you can't go for a Radeon 3850 or something like that :D

    ATI, MY friend say ATI is not durable.

    clock speed is not all you have to see. c speed, bus speed\width, bandwidth ++++

    even though clock speed and bandwidth are high , there are compatibility issues.

    like though some ATI cards are higher in Bus\ clock speeds, they give low frame rates when compared with Nvidia cards with low Bus \clock speeds in most games

    That is why ATI is tagged with a cheap price tag.......
