V certainly do have some talented directors & a bunch of actors & actresses.
Directors lyk Somarathna Dissanayake, Dr. Lester James Peries, Ashoka Handagama, Prasanna Vithanagw are directors of tht calipper.
All we need is some disipline & a change the attitudes as I was kinda feel Ashoka Handagama is a director who can make a difference. Other thn the above mentioned directors they r few more.

They copy from west and east too.. they wanna be so glamorous so wannabe Hollywood!

But as always they end up making same old crap too... 3 hour shit with 150 songs in it!

All of them are overacting including the so called SRK! very very few good actors in Hindi cinema...

agreed..they are making films with a same concept in every film..most of the time.
there is a hero..a girl...and an enemy...enemy dies ///hero wins..hero marries the girl.

This is the problem... they cannot get away from that format even if they want to, the majority is still the same.. look at south Indian cinema.. utter crap than north indian ones.. can you believe that piece of shit Rajini still acting 22 year old and people love it!! Holy God!! I can't believe this! People burn down theaters if something goes wrong while showing his crap! while he slowly but surely making an image for himself to come to politics..

Should we walk into this trap of having such a narrow minded film industry?

i think reason for that is the education in india.most of the people are not educated well to understand something deep..so they are always going along with the same old but popular concept
