hmmm then jst try HTC diamond.... cuz HTC pro price is much higher than dat....W995 - Rs. 67000

N97 hands down !!
W995 is a normal phone with a regular number pad, nothing special except for the 8MP camera.
But N97 is a smartphone with a larger touch screen and full QWERTY keyboard. How can you compare those two ? they are not even in the same category.. Ok maybe the N97 camera has lesser MPs but the quality is pretty good. Except for the camera W995 has nothing worth considering. So if price is no concern then the choice is obvious.
i cnt compare this 2..
i chose W995 im relay crazy about sony ericsson phones...

NO I dont think so... Sound quality mostly depends on the ear/head phones you use. I really don't think there is a noticeable difference between the two. New Nokia phones have dedicated audio chips with pretty good customizable equalizers and sound effects, I have a 5800 XM and I am very pleased with the audio quality, IMO not much room for improvement. Don't compare it with old Nokia phones that had software decoding, new phones are far better. Especially those with dedicated audio chips.Sound quality wise the W995 wins hands down I presume![]()

And don't forget that N97 is a smartphone! Almost like a mini computer (even comes with a physical full QWERTY keyboard). There is no way you can compare that to a standard phone with only Java support. As I said before except for the camera there is nothing worth considering in a W995.
apart from rather High harmonic and inter-modulation distortion levelsDo you have any professional audio test results to support your claim?Trueapart from rather High harmonic and inter-modulation distortion levels
Fan boyism![]()
.. but now im pretty sure that i would never move back to those phones with " primitive " operating systems
and poor built quality
