Well., that was a long big explannation, but I find that it was merely based on the observation of "Ariyasen Ahubudu"
I don't whether you guys going to kick me for that. But I personally think (OK.. PERSONALLY) Ariyesen has an issue with everything and too much of whimpy woe.
May be it's just my Personal preference, but I tend to stay pretty clear of hind sighted extremist the like of Ariyasen.
It's just comical the way people try to bring about RELIGION to any damn thing these days. I mean can anyone of you point out to any "religiouse" reference during the New Year celebrations?
I am not a budhdhist and I don't celebrate the April New year. But as far as I know, the omen's during the festival says "Observe religiouse activities" without marginalizing WHICH religion that they are refering it too.
So., extremist hind sighted woe's like Ariyasen tends drag Buddhism into each and everything that they see fancy..............which in my opinion is just pure stupidness.
Continuing on the same,
If Ariyasen like to drag buddism into it, then someone should reming him that the concept of "new year" at present if soley based on "chasing away the bad omens of the previouse year and bringout a new fresh begining to the new year" where you observe and go through all that good practices......
so, in view of that, Ariyasen should be reminded that it's budhdhas' preaching NOT TO trust on Good / Bad omens where a follower should only trust the Dhamma and Dhamma only it self (correct me if I am wrong)
So what should be the "point" Ariyasen is trying to make?
New year is based on buddhist practises, but on the other side, buddha specifically noted NOT TO DO THE VERY SAME THING YOU ARE DOING as "celebrating new year"
again.. it's just personal view of the people like "Ariyasen" which I steer clear at any cost
