Yeah then only the rich people who can afford their rates can fly.....

On the other side, Sri Lankan airlines have 14 flights at the moment and they have ordered 2 new flights as well. Which is enough them to operate efficiently.

So Mihin Air is a good alternative to rich people as well as middle class people to fly abroad and enjoy the world.

Many Airlines have the same kinda system. Qantas operates Jetstar as a low cost air line, Singapore has Tiger. [not sure about the name]

Anyway... This is a good alternative for all the people in the island to enjoy the luxury for a lesser cost.

Lankaawe ipadila, lankaawe hadila, lankaawen kaala, lankaawen igena gena, lankaawen salli hoyaagena Lankaawatama nigraha karanna epa machang. You should know that Emirates have a huge proportion of Sri Lankan air line shares. So why not try to retain the Sri Lankan money in Sri Lanka it self.

Oh come on I wasn't insulting our country.I said above in this thread that Sri Lankan is ranked 1st in Asia didn't I?My whole point is that they should try to develop that flight instead of trying to waste our money on starting another.



I'm not an UNP member if that what rapa thinks.But people you can't ignore the fact that this airline has something to do with our presidnt.Why should he name it after him?The no 1 cricket ground in our country was named after a politician.Thats not soo great.If the man really truly loved the sport they should name it after a sportsman in Sri Lanka.This topic was talked in recent icc world cup too.They also shared this point of view.



This whole naming something after a politician is a part of their political campaign.We must accept that cos its the truth.At least its my opinion.Others might have many other views...And i respect them yoo
