So what :confused: most of us who have Windows 7 activated have the same properties page (except for the HP logo) but you can put just about anything there, even your own photo.

do you guy forget the the manufacturer ?........... and the logo ? ... it's tru that you can edit but i didn't

HP has not yet started shipping Windows 7. Where did you get it ? Most likely what you have got is a standard Windows 7 installation with custom OEM information.

Changing OEM information is very easy. There are two ways
  1. Manually edit the registry at HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\OEMInformation
  2. use a 3rd party tool like Winbubbles

    Is the DVD original with HP logo printed etc.., and is your computer HP? If so then great, cos you never know when these hacked OSs will stop working. I'm also waiting Win 7 to release, then I can get a genuine copy though MSDN, dont want to run a pirated copy :no:

    he he...winbubbles do more than that.u can edit ur registry to prove ur copy is genuine.i did that.n guess what,now im gettin genuine updates from microsoft.
