HP has not yet started shipping Windows 7. Where did you get it ? Most likely what you have got is a standard Windows 7 installation with custom OEM information.
Changing OEM information is very easy. There are two ways
- Manually edit the registry at HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\OEMInformation
- use a 3rd party tool like Winbubbles

ya you can do it that way too......
I got this from a inside friend..........![]()

Is the DVD original with HP logo printed etc.., and is your computer HP? If so then great, cos you never know when these hacked OSs will stop working. I'm also waiting Win 7 to release, then I can get a genuine copy though MSDN, dont want to run a pirated copy![]()
