Uses a lot of RAM to speed up things - yes (this is good)

And SP1 is not coming out anytime soon. A private SP1 beta will be out at the end of the month. SP1 won't be out this year.

The case of having to release service packs just within the year you launched the "final product" is baffling enough. The release cycle of standard alphas betas and RCs must iorn out the flaws and squash the bugs, also plaster the holes. Now microsoft has to release a bugsquasher just before 1 year since launch.
