දැන් අපි ඉගෙන ගන්න යන්නේ සින්දුවේ bass, rhythm, pad and tune යන අංග එකතු කරන හැටි.
මේව කරන්න අපිට sequencer කියන එක අවශ්ය වෙනවා.
Sequencer and "Drawing" a song
In reason, if we are not using a MIDI keyboard, we have to “draw” the song.
The sequencer plays a main role in Reason. All the editing we do to a song, like cutting, copying parts etc are done here.
The sequencer concerns of a timeline.
What is a timeline?
A time line is a grid in which we can instruct the computer what to do at the moment.
The timeline can be called as a school timetable.
When your teacher allocates subject maths from 8.30 am till 9.30 am on Monday, when you attend school on Monday, you are supposed to be learning maths from 8.30 am to 9.30 am.
Similarly, if you allocate the swara “Sa” to be played in from the 1st matra to the 3rd matra, the computer is supposed to play “Sa” from 1st matra to 3rd matra.
Let’s take a look at the sequencer first.
The sequencer comes in two modes.
1. Arrange mode
2. Edit mode
