CSE on Tuesday 2011.08.30


The All Share Price Index picked up 41.94 points or 0.61% while the MPI gained 0.17% to end today’s trading session on positive grounds. Brokers say retail investors were more active during the day. Counters such as HVA, CLND and DFCC have seen demand from investors. Foreign investors have bought more than what they sold to record a net foreign inflow of Rs. 8.8 million. 109 counters have made gains while 104 have seen price declines. Market turnover for the day stood at Rs. 4.92 billion.

කොටස් වෙළඳපළින් ප්‍රතිලාභ ලැබිය හැකි ආකාර දෙකක් ප්‍රධාන වශයෙන් තිබෙනව.

1. ලාභාංශ (Dividends)
2. ප්‍රාග්ධන ලාභ (Capital gains)

මොනවද මේ ලාභාංශ කියන්නෙ?
ලාභාංශ කියන්නෙ යම් සමාගමක් ලබන ලාභයෙන් කොටසක් එම සමාගමේ කොටස් හිමිකරුවන් අතර බෙදා දීම. වෙනත් වචන වලින් කිව්වොත් ලාභාංශයක් කියන්නෙ සමාගම ලැබූ ලාභයේ කොටස් හිමියාගේ කොටස.
එම වසර තුළ ලැබූ ලාභය අනුව, සමාගමේ අධ්‍යක්ෂක මණ්ඩලය, එම වසරට අදාළ ලාභාංශ අනුපාතය තීරණය කරනව. එය මූල්‍ය (Cash dividends) හෝ කොටස් (Share dividends) වියහැකියි. හැබැයි වැදගත් දෙයක්, සමාගම, එහි කොටස් හිමියන්ට ලාභාංශ ලබා දීම අනිවාර්ය නැහැ, සහ ඔවුන් එයට බැඳී නැහැ. ඔවුන්ට තීරණය කළ හැකියි, ලාභයන් කොටස් හිමියන් අතරේ බෙදාහරිනවද නැතිනම් යළි එය සමාගම සඳහාම යොදවනවද කියල. ලාභාංශ තමයි, තමුන්ගේ, එම සමාගම පිළිබඳ අයිතියට බලපෑමක් නොවී, ලාභ ලැබිය හැකි එකම ආකාරය.

මේක වැදගත්. තමුන් යම් සමාගමක ලාභාංශ ගන්න බලාපොරොත්තු වෙනවා නම්, එම සමාගම විසින් ප්‍රකාශයට පත් කරන මෙම දිනයට පෙර, එම සමාගමේ කොටස් අයිතිය ලාබාගෙන, එම දිනයේදීත් එම අයිතිය පවත්වාගත යුතුයි. මෙම දිනයේදී ඔබ එම සමාගමේ කොටස් හිමියෙක් නම් මුලින් සමාගම විසින් ප්‍රකාශයට පත් කළ ලාභංශ සඳහා ඔබ සුදුස්සෙකු වෙනවා. සමාගම පකාශයට පත් කර ඇති ඊළඟ දිනයේදී ඔබට අදාළ ලාභාංශ එම සමාගම විසින් ඔබේ නිවසටම චෙක්පතක් මගින් එවනවා.

උදා:
ඔබ X‍YZ සමාගමේ කොටස් 1000ක් රු. 12 බැගින් මිලදී ගන්නව.
එම සමාගම තීරණය කරනව, එම සමාගමේ කොටස් හිමියන්ට එක කොටසකට ශත 50 බැගින් ලාභාංශ ලබා දීමට. ඔවුන් XD date එක වශයෙන් 2009.04.05 තීරණය කරනව. ලාභාංශ ගෙවන දිනය 2009.04.11 ලෙසත් ප්‍රසිද්ධ කරනවා.
ඔබ එම දිනය වන විට එම කොටස් වල හිමිකාරීත්වය පවත්වා ගතහොත් ඔබට 2009.04.11 දිනයේදී 0.50 * 1000 = රු.500 ක ලාභාංශයක් හිමි වෙනවා.

එතකොට ප්‍රාග්ධන ලාභ කියන්නෙ?
තමා සතු වත්කමක වටිනාකම කාලය සමඟ වැඩි වන විට එයින් ලැබෙන ලාභය ප්‍රාග්ධන ලාභයක් ලෙස හැඳින්වෙනවා. හබැයි මෙම ලාභය ලබන්න නම් එම වත්කම විකිණිය යුතුයි. මෙතනදි මේක වෙන්නෙ ,මෙහෙමයි. ඔබ යම් සමාගමක කොටස් ගන්නව යම් මිලකට. ටික කාලයක් යනවිට එහි මිල ඉහළ යනව. එතකොට ඔබට එතැන, ප්‍රාග්ධන ලාභයක් තිබෙනව. හැබැයි එම ලාභය ලබන්න ඔබ ඔබ සතු කොටස් දැන් වෙළඳපළ මිලට විකිණිය යුතු වෙනවා. එවිට ඔබේ ප්‍රාග්ධන ප්‍රමාණය ඉහළ යනවා. උදා: ඉස්සෙල්ල එකෙන්ම ගමුකෝ. කොටස් 1000ක් ගත්තනෙ රු.12ට. ඔන්න එම සමාගමේ කොටස් මිල ඉහල යනව 13.25ට. ඔබට දැන් එම කොටස් 1000 වික්කොත් ප්‍රාග්ධන ලාභයක් ගන්න පුළුවන්. කීයක්ද? 1000 * (13.25 - 12.00) = රු. 1250 තේරුනා නේද? තව ටිකක් නගිනකම් තියා ඉන්නත් පුළුවන්, නැත්තම් දැන්මම විකුණල ඒ 1250 ගන්නත් පුළුවන්.

ඉහත ක්‍රමය තමයි, මෙයින් ඉපයීම් කරන්න පුළුවන් ඉක්මන්ම හා ලේසිම ක්‍රමය.

දැන් කියන්නම් මෙතන තියෙන වැදගත්ම දේ. මේ ක්‍රමයෙන් ලාභය වගේම පාඩුවක් වෙන්නත් ඉඩ තියෙනව. හදිස්සියෙ එම කොටසක මිල පහළ ගියොත් මොකද වෙන්නෙ? ඔබට පාඩුවක් වෙනව. බය වෙන්න එපා, එහෙම වෙන්නෙ ඔබ ඒ කොටස් ටික දැන් තිබෙන මිලට වික්කොත්නෙ, අවස්ථානුකූලව එම පාඩුව විඳගනිමින් ඒවා විකුණනවද, නැත්තම් ආපහු වැඩි වනතෙක් තබා ගන්නවද කියල තීරණය කරන්න ඔබට පුළුවන්.

ප්‍රාග්ධන ලාභ මගින් මේ ලැබෙන ආදායම සම්පූර්ණයෙන් රජයේ ආදායම් බදු වලින් තොරයි. ඔබ මෙම ලබා ගන්නා ආදායමට කිසිම විදිහකින් ආදායම් බදු ගෙවිය යුතු නෑ.

Under Sri Lanka's securities law, a person charged with securities fraud can agree to pay a 'compound fee' and avoid going to court. Market sources said the company and three directors had been fined close to 10 million rupees. A company official confirmed that it had settled with the SEC.

The SEC had earlier been probing the firm's filings that it owned stock in a platinum mine and other securities of unlisted firms. ERI late said it had sold the mining stock and remitted cash to the firm.
