NIBM or SLIIT ???????

True that NIBM was there for 45 Years , And I really dnt want to start which institute is better argument coz that would not really help this Brother, But I want to make these suggestions to the community


SLIIT has lot of options for Degrees (IT, Networking, Information Systems, Electronic, Multimedia, Software Engineering etc.)

You can do SLIIT Degree, or you can transfer to some UK or USA Uni for further studies.

I only found these two in NIBM which apprantly is more focused in IS where SLIIT offers more IT related and Networking related Courses

• BSc in Management Information Systems (conducted in collaboration with University College Dublin, National University of Ireland, Dublin)
• BSc in Management Information Systems – Special Degree (UGC Approved)

Also SLIIT normally has Student capacity of 5000 to 6000 at any given point of time and grant the IT industry of Sri Lanka with 1000+ Graduates each Year, So we are covering lots of ground.

I think the future and the present is with SLIIT

This my personnal experience and since been in IT field for last 4 to 5 Years I think I can express this opinion

but then again others are entitled to their own opinions

any way Brother its your choice this is just a guidence

For IT from private institutes SLIIT is the best
that does not say NIBM is bad. but if u do IT go for SLIIT if u u do IM go for NIBM
both are approved by UGC.
