Thanks br kindly do not forget to mention the commission that you would intend to give for those who promote buy and sell and advertise with regard to you automobile business scheme, then surely everyone will work hard on this, cos nowaday's money come's first and promotion campaign come's last...so you will have to churn up a scheme to earn on vehilcles...that's the important aspect of your business cos no individual is going to something on a freebie basis For All Your Automotive Needs..

Activate some kind of money making survey scheme for automotive for srilankan buyer's or seller's for their prosperity cos the market trend in whatver aspect's in srilanka is deteriorating day by day and people concentrate crave more on their food than travel's, vehicle's or electronic's.

Importing from Japan will probably be the cheapest option however there might be a slight problem. I presume it'll be quite difficult to find a manual Golf in the Japanese market. If that's the case then you could perhaps try importing it from the UK or Australia. Not entirely sure about the procedures and taxes associated. :oo: Were you thinking of petrol or diesel?

Thanks for your advice. I understand what you mean  Since there is no actual business involved here I have no intentions of asking for anything nor am I expecting commissions as that would be violating the terms of this forum. I don't think this is the right place for that kind of thing seeing as it's a large community where people might learn something and have some fun. :D

If it was a business (i.e. personal website), then yes, there could be money involved. But then again, I think that's too old-fashioned now.
That's just my personal opinion :)

I'm looking for petrol version.. but looking only for 1.4 122hp version as this is the best model considering all the facts.. what would be the final cost for this model? Manual will be cheaper & easy to maintain..DSG Version is a complex version...Thanks

As mentioned previously I'm not sure about the availability of the Manual models in Japan :oo: hence I can't give a price however the previous post shows an Auto for 17 lakhs.

In Australia you can find a 2010 Manual from $23000 (approx. 23 lakhs) That's the one you're after...122bhp 6spd Manual :) Not sure about the import taxes and shipping charges though. Perhaps you should also try getting a quote from UK as well .
