You should read TRC regulations. ISP is not authorized to introduce FUP to existing unlimited packages. If they do you can sue them. But the problem is you all download like crazy all the day. Since SLT is not providing a dedicated internet service, when those dumbasses download like crazy others' internet speed gets slow. Some 'Mongals' use like 50 -80 GB per month. WTF is wrong with them? Actually we are the ones who gotta blame the people who come up here saying I got blacklisted and shit like.
I tried to increase my monthly usage once. I only could reach up to 30 GB. Normally my average usage is in between 10 - 20 GB. But I see people here telling that they use like 80 -100 GB. WTF is that? Stop wasting the bandwidth so we all can enjoy. Anyway gotta admit that SLT provides a shitty service. But I don't feel like moving in to Lankabell bcz I gotta get a new connection and that's alot to bother. Anyway someday soon I'm also going to say goodbye to this piece of shit!

Unlimited users have all the liberty and right to download any amount of data they can. Others don't have a single say in it.If anyone to blame its SLT for adding excessive amount of subscribers to a limited pool.

There are terms and regulation that both customers and the providing party to adhere prior providing the service. And those are written and should be static throughout the contract period in order to avoid disputable occasions.
They promised us to provide the service without any limitation. Which is unlimitedly. Do I need to point the meaning of that word in the dictionary ?

They are bound to release 512*60*60*24*30/(8*1024*1024)GB per month for one customer or least 60% of it.

You possibly cannot blame on others usage by justifying your own habits now can you ? If they want to use 100 120Gb so be it. Thats the very reason they went for unlimited package. Not to screw with you.
SLT made a huge mistake by providing many unlimited connection beyond the capacity and now they are trying to cover it up by cornering the heavy users by naming them as BLACKLISTED.
They promised to give the service unlimitedly and now branding those who using it unlimitedly as what ? Leechers ?
They limit the speed of their customers and made them hate for those who use heavily and people like you are playing right into them

I saw an opportunity when they first introduced unlimited connections and garbed it. SLT promised us unlimited bandwidth with max speed for the amount we pay, so what about us then? .
Didn't SLT blacklisted heavy users long back?(moved them to a one loop or something) Therefor I think light users are hardly affected by heavy users. Even if it did, its unreasonable for you to ask unlimited subscribers to limit their monthly usage. We subscribed for Unlimited Connection Because we want an unlimited connection. Its simple as that.
About that TRC notice, Even they could get a court oder or something to impose a FUP on Unlimited users I'm pretty sure it will be not unreasonable as throttling after 18GB or 20GB.Anyhow lets cross that bridge when we come to it

Anyway SLT is shit I know. But I think if SLT continues to do like this everyone will be going for the Lankabell package and when heavy users starts over to show their talent there we will face the same problem there too right? FUP is kinda annoying for me too. But if they can come up with a plan to raise the monthly volume up to 40 GB with the 8 Mbps package it will be fair I think. The current 25 GB for the 8Mbps is ridiculous as we can use the same volume with a 512 package. Maybe even more than that. So if you get the average usage of both packages they will be the same but with the 8Mbps we can reach the limit within 2 weeks not knowing it.

Then its Lankabells duty to either limit giving unlimited subscriptions or impose a "fair" FUP. But they won't have the legal problem that SLT is having regarding their old unlimited subscribers .So they can do pretty much anything they want! Therefor as I see it, its safer to stay with SLT rather than shift to Lankabell. But Staying with SLT has its own cons, like ridiculous speed drop etc...
Yes, bringing up a higher bandwidth limit is much better than throttling or tampering with users internet experience.
About 8Mbps connection, I think the whole idea of this connection is to attract existing unlimited users, thus earn more profits and get rid of heavy users. But they should have gone for a higher limit like 40GB(peak) rather than 25 GB. Then their plan would have worked much more effectively.
