Didn't you guys notice something special about Amon's lieutenant , his fighting style? IMO Season 2 will focus on Korra reuniting benders and nonbenders and defeating Amon/Tarlok, once and for all

His fighting style resembles a friend of original team Avatar, Jet the freedom fighter. The one who tried to drown an entire village in order to rid it from fire benders. Lieutenant must be the grandson of Jet.
I don't think so. Amon is a very capable water bender so is Tarlok. Even they were severely hurt by the blast they can use their bending to get help.

Fighting style was the first clue. Physical resemblance, attitude toward bending, weapon of choice they all fall in line. Writers have been reinventing same characters we saw in the original series. I would be damned if this one is not intentional.

And whos Bhumi ? Tenzins brother ? Is he a earth bender ? Shouldn't he be a Air bender or Water ? Tell me if these qs are stupid

He is the great grandson of Gen Iroh. ( Grandmaster of White lotus,Dragon of the West)
Yes Bumi is Tenzin's brother.(Avatar Aang's nonbender son)
I too don't know the premier date of season 2. Nick will announce it after they re-air the entire season 1.
I think the great Gen Iroh had only one son and lost him in a battle. And his generation ceased to exist
