Friends,
I'm a I'm a final year student of Bachelor of Information Technology (External) degree at University of Colombo School of Computing (2009 – 2012). But I won't be able to complete that this year. So, I hope to complete it in the next year. Mean while, I want to work. So first of all, let me tell you what I know & capable of at the moment.
I have a good knowledge in J2SE 1.5. Although, whatever about the SCJP at the moment (I got 73% without cheating
), I’ve some practical knowledge. & I'm also familiar with J2EE & J2ME. I've at least a fundamental knowledge in HTML, PHP, JavaScript, CSS, XML, Ajax & Android. I've been using Photoshop for years, since I'm interested in that too. For more than 1 1/2 years, I've been using Linux (mostly Ubuntu) operating systems.
I love to learn different subjects & do experiments. Like creative thinking. This may sounds like bluffing. But, I've learned a lot of things in my life well by self-studying. As far as I know about me, I'm good at it. & I can adapt to new things quickly.
So what I want to know is, anything about choosing a career in IT field, considering the above facts. Specially, if you can tell me anything about the followings, that'll be very useful to me.
- Software Engineer
- QA
- Web Developer
- Business Analyst
- Linux Related
Thank you very much
