    back up eka gaththa ban MS SQL server 2005 Express eken

    ooke assess database ekek neda ban thiyenne ?, mata software eka ewapan, babala kiyannam, eka eka machine ekata method eka wenas ban, oka biostar Blue clour ekada ?

    Backup eka restore karala. database server eke ip eka denna one machine ekata. Machine eke software eka dammama client server kiyala software 2 thiyanawa. eke service ekata database settings dala start karanna. Biostar application ekata ita passe log wethahaki. log wela device eka config karanna one. Hariyatama mathaka na ohoma thamai karanne.

    Database eka restore karanna.

    Database ekak create karala right click -> restore database-> select from device-> select backup set then click restore.

    Restart the database service and try again. if not give .mdf and .ldf path to your new database.

    cannot do that i'm getting error it's say cannot restore the database or overwrite the database

    try this ..
    go to run > services.msc and stop sql server
    then go to sql right click the DB properties>files .
    find the location of (.mdf ) path.
    go to the path and copy that YourName.mdf file.
    in ur new PC open SQL and Attache the mdf file
