    Machan, I paid that amount when I was in Australia. In Australia, even a debit card has the facility to take part in online transactions. But in Sri Lanka, it has to be a credit card or else a card with similar features like the one you have mentioned which enables it. I think Sampath web card can do it but ask them.

    The occupation of Solicitor/Lawyer is currently on the skills occupations list schedule 1 for general skills migration. To apply for a visa under this program you need to meet a threshold of 60 points and can apply independently or you can be sponsored by a state or territory government or a close family member in a regional area of Australia. Visa sub classes under the general skilled migrant program that can be used are the 189/190/489

    In addition to obtaining points for age, English ability, work experience and qualifications, you also must have a skills assessment by the appropriate authority. This must be completed before an expression of interest can be made under the skill select program.

    But she needs to complete her degree first. Then consult a migration lawyer. No need to do a masters since your GF will be placed on a student visa if so. If she is applying for legal masters, it's not that easy to be done in Australia due to its high cost.

    can i migrate with BCS qualification ? or do i have to complete ACS ?
    BCS and ACS are two different qualifications conducted under two different educational frameworks and in two different countries. ACS, acts as a body in assessing qualifications and providing skills assessment for migrants. If you have completed Certificate, Diploma and PGD levels of BCS, you can apply for an assessment. There is a list of occupations assessed by ACS. It depends on the subjects you have completed and whether they contain majors in networking, system design etc. I cannot guarantee that they will assess BCS for a skilled occupation since it's a British study requirement not an Australian study component to be assessed under Australian Qualifications Framework. Please send a mail to ACS and see what they say

    Only the number of years, has an effect towards claiming points. No issue with how many companies you have worked for. But your nominated occupation in the SOL should cover that job as satisfactory to be awarded relevant points for experience. That can only be known through the Skills assessment of ACS.

    If you do not have an eligible blood relative to sponsor you or you do not have any kind of sponsorship, you should get 7 on each to acquire points. It gives you 10 points. IELTS score may vary depending on the visa category you are applying for and how many points left to be obtained through that.

    IELTS 7 BAND I DIE :rofl::rofl::baffled:

    Consult a migration lawyer. If you get the sponsorship of a BLOOD relative, you will be able to apply for sub class 489 skilled provisional visa, which gives you 48 months to remain in Australia. After that you can apply for PR but there are two conditions to complete. Your lawyer will tell you about that. Based on your details, you are eligible but you need to do IELTS. First you will have to get the assessment from the ACS.

    They will give you 15 points for degree + 5 points for experience. You will get 30 points if you are in the age group of 25-32. Now you have 50 points up to now. You need only 60 to apply for a visa. If you get sponsored by a blood relative, you will get 10 points and claims 60 points but you need IELTS to access the Skill Select visa system and no points for each band 6.

    But if you get 7 on each in IELTS, you are given 10 points,so that you will need no sponsorship and can directly apply for PR at once. But all these depend on how you get marks at the assessment.

    Job opportunities are there. But you need a valid visa to remain in Australia before applying for jobs. There are a number of visa categories that may be of importance depending on your qualifications. Complete 3 years of experience and then consult a lawyer.
