මම නම් මොරටුව නෙමෙයි. මේක දාලා තියෙන කෙනා Private Universities promote කරන්න දාලා තියෙනවා වගේ පේන්නේ මොරටුව Eng යන්නත් පිං කරලා තියෙන්න ඕනේ. යන එවුන් දන්නවා කොහොම කම්පෙටිශන් එකක්ද තියෙන්නේ කියලා. කොහොම වැඩ්ඩොද ඉන්නේ කියලා. කවුරු මොනවා කිව්වත් ලංකාවේ වැඩර්ලා ටික සෙට් වෙන්නේ මෝරා වල. එකෙක් දෙන්නෙක් පේරා එහෙම යනවා මෝරා යන්න පුලුවන් වුනත්. අනිත් එක තමා මීට අවුරුදු 2කට කලින් IEEE එකෙන් තිබ්බ quiz competition එකෙන් World 1st place ගැහුවේ මෝරා. වැඩ්ඩෝ නෙමෙයි නිසා වෙන්න ඇති බං එහෙම ප්ලේස් ගැහුවේ Reports අතින් මෝරා හොඳයි කියනවා. Practical අතින් පේරා හොඳයි කියනවා. ඔය මොක කිව්වත් ඒක කෙනාගේ හැටියට තමා තීරණේ වෙන්නේ. ​

Agreed, So what are you trying to prove here? If your point is that SL uni standards are below par, what are your suggestions to improve the quality of Sri Lankan universities?

its like this machn.to tell the truth its very difficult to improve it.why I am saying that is,the whole Sri Lanka is a mess.u agree that right?

to improve it,Sri Lankan people should change their attitudes firstly.government should engage these things and take the responsibility and should enhance the university resources and facilities. should let foreign students to enter the Sri Lankan universities.should produce more research papers.introduce new streams,fields.move on with new technology etc.

it a lot right? as far as I think, if non of this happened in the history of SL, I don't think these things gonna happen in future either unless some great people come to the big seats suddenly and change everything.

Agree with you, another important fact is that the relationship between the industry and universities is not up to the standard in SL (especially in engineering) hence funds are not available to carry out research. This is the main reason behind lack of research in SL universities opposed to reputed foreign universities where most of the research are funded by the industry.

I have studied and worked at Moratuwa Uni. I have seen so many engineers, but u simply cant compare them because they really are d best.

Try to work with one.. U will understand. Especially if its a SCE fellow.
