Rape, unfortunately, is still a part of war today. It’s not a strong testament to the human race, but I don’t think we should pretend it doesn’t exist. '

Wights are people (or animals) that were risen from the dead by the White Walkers. They look like corpses (or skeletons) that had rotted, their eyes are blue, they are clumsy, their missing limbs can operate by themselves, they do not feel pain, and they can go on fighting even after "critical" injuries. Obsidian doesn't kill them. The only known way to kill them is to burn them with fire. To become a wight all you need to do is die north of the wall.
