3. S, SV, SL තියෙන්නේ US වල.

24 -24.5 Units will be used for 0-100% charge. Yes, our power grid contains only 50% of hydro power. BUT, do you know we cannot stop or control other fuel powered electricity generators ? So during day time we have a electricity shortage and after 10-11 PM, tremendous amount electricity wasting without any use of it. So, charging of Electric cars at night actually using excessive power generated and it's helping to keep the balance of whole electricity grid.

Solar panel on Leaf actually charging the 12V battery which is used by Fan, Lights, Audio Systems, Computer, Dashboard, etc..
And why you think this is a crap ? can you give me good reasons for that ?
Remember, this car is very expensive and very comfortable car. But we can import it for very low cost since the TAX reduction ( 5% only ) of Electric cars. IF the TAX was same as for hybrids ( 95% ) , this car would be cost around 45-60 laks.

Some of your points are very accurate, about the coverage of KM it can do is 120KM with traffic, my Sister is in this criteria, she uses it in colombo and sometimes there are times where she has to charge it, once it has done 100KM. She finds it hard sometimes when the car keeps on ringing to charge the battery at 10KM remaining. Where could you charge anyway in the middle of the road? so once it's fully charged we always make use of it, until it drops below 20KM, then we don't take it out, and use the other vehicle, It's sometimes a hassle to charge it, charging it at home, and sometimes we forget to remove the plug. it's a good car, but too much of day to day maintenance. I hope the new 2016's leaf is better in range and other facilities.

machan. I can't understand what your sister doing there. Ask her to join our club. we share lot of information / tips / advises and many more things among our group members via FB page and regular meetups.

Is your sister having Nissan Leaf ZE0 ? or AZE0 ?

Normally Leaf gives you warning light at 17% of the capacity. And it's enough to drive at least 20Km unless the traffic is heavy and car is not moving at all. If you switch off A/C you can do more. Then, it hits below 6%, percentage gauge will be disappeared. After below 2%, turtle light will appear and requires to take your car wherever possible location to charge or tow.

Charging your car at home is easier than charging my phone. I plugged it in soon after I get down from the car. And no need to worry about removing it. Once charge is completed, it'll automatically switched off. You can remove it before you drive the car on following day morning.

Other than plug the charger in the night and removing it in the morning, I only check the windscreen washer fluid level ( once per week ). No any other maintenance would requires for it.

For your case, Leaf would be a good solution.
    1. Everyday charging is totally OK for the car. But make sure to charge 80% mode( you can select it from the menu ). You can charge up to 100% if you want to go a long run.
    2. 0-100% charge ~6hrs. 0-80% charge ~4.5hrs.
    3. If A/C is running heavily ( depending on outside and inside temperature difference ), it will drain your battery little bit ( Because Leaf has energy efficient climate control system ).
    4. What do you mean stop ?
    5. 24Units for 0-100% charge and you can travel ~120-130Kms for that because of the traffic. you can calculate your bill from, http://www.ceb.lk/sub/residence/billcalculator.aspx
    6. My no : Check you inbox.

    AZE0 version silver 2013.
she got the S grade version.

We both like the car, but comparing it to an normal vehicle or an hybrid I think those are better, the only reason why we don't go much in the Prado is because of the size. else we use the Leaf.

I guess convenience is different from me and you, so some people prefer to not have an eye always on there car like battery levels, charge levels, etc.

Since our vehicle stopped in the middle of the road when charge had depleted we had an bad impression on it, but it went away as we start using it and watching the battery.

There is nothing wrong for you to charge 100% you can do that without any issue.

Your journey is just 15km max so both ways u will do 30km. Which even in traffic you can do at least 3 such trips before charging again.

Its better for you to keep the AC @ 26 and drive on ECO and B mode if you have the B mode. Also make sure the Tyre PSI is 38.

Dont worry ur battery will not go down like that. What ever traffic u can do 3 trips easily with your single 100% charge. It will take around 7 - 8 Hrs if you charge with a 10Amp standard charger. If you get a 7.2kw charger provided your car supports 6.6kw you can do the charge within 3.5Hrs.
