උඹ තාම හරියට review එකක් දුන්නේ නෑ බන්..interior , performance වගේ දේවල් ගැන ඕනි අපිට....
You should look at this from the average car buyer's mindset... See, people like Raththaran have the means and knowledge to identify a mechanical mishap just by a faint rattling noise from the engine bay, they have resources and contacts to source spare parts for cheap; in other words they can maintain a car for peanuts. Moreover they're very knowledgeable in cars and their mechanical systems. So obviously finding best used cars and avoiding abused cars is their second nature. They obviously can find a Jap in pristine condition for 2.2mil, they get the most car for money.
But the average car buyer without mechanical knowhow and basic knowledge in cars may end up buying an abused car or a car with serious mechanical issues; he has to rely on local mechanics or agents to source spare parts; he will have to spend an exorbitant amount on spares and running repairs because let's face it, most of the mechanics and all the agents for particular car brands are freaking rip-offs. Ultimately he will end up spending through the nose and eventually the car will be a money pit.
Buying a brand new Indian the buyer is covered from a warranty, spares are dirt cheap compared to Japanese cars (if they source the spares directly from the agents), running costs will be relatively low. So for the peace of mind they sacrifice Safety, comfort and driving pleasure. Doesn't look like a fair trade but that's how it works...
If there was a BN Jap counterpart for a reasonable price I'm sure they would choose it over BN Indian cars any day but that's not the case.
So let's just quit bashing fellow Elakirians over their choices in life and move on.![]()

Vitz, Nissan March I have tried from friends. They are awesome cars
Just some factors differ

are you mad to compare vehicle with dimensions and tyre sizes...
what a joke

its not a joke because some dimensions are pretty close and the ground clearance in kwid is better.
but engine capacity is diff. so the march is superior in that category.
a review should be like that![]()
try to drive those vehicles and see the difference machan
. but no budget to buy those machan

Here's much more "car" for 21 lakhs
2003 Mitsubishi Lancer CS1
And the boot space is 430L
Tyre size: 195/60 R15S

see you are doing it again. this is not related here, why cant you understand that??? and worst of all its a sedan model
![]()

so this is very relevent
Well you just compared the KWID to a Nissan Micra!
This is a contender to the KWID in SL marketso this is very relevent
![]()
yes, in size and the catagory
but not with the engine or to a sedan
what is wrong with you??
not relevant at all.
I'm starting to think that you are a moron

This is a dimensions blueprint I have posted here, can't you see?
So yeah, I'm comparing sizes, boot space and tyre size. Not the engine.
And I don't see why comparing a hatchback to a sedan is moronic. In the context of a Sri Lankan carbuyers' mindset pros/cons of a vehicle being a hatchback or a sedan is pretty negligible.

it is because its two different categories
hatch back has a different market than sedan
![]()
Not in Sri Lanka. "hatchback-only carbuyers" or "sedan-only carbuyers" are almost nonexistent in SL when it comes to buying a car.

ube danuma hitha gane puluwan.it is because its two different categories
