that white colour one without the roof rails would look real good. it's a shame that they couldn't offer some ABS and airbags for this car along with a stronger body. I guess AMW should be keeping a very good margin from these because they were able to buy/rent a whole new building near gangarama just to sell the Kwid.

yes the car is less than 8 lahks, lets keep tax and other charges as 8 lakhs, rest goes to AMW

Ideal motors are keeping more than that, 24.5 Lahks

For the local market I think this is a utterly ridiculous decision by the company. Why, local drivers would expect both to be visible and could end up in a collision while say trying to back up from a parking lot.

Any how I feel this should not be the case for a vehicle trying to enter the LK market. Seriously how much can you save from a freaking bulb?

eg: 1. if someone want to buy a "car" they will do a research then compare with the cars in the market and decide what to buy based on their budget and requirement.

2. but if they want to buy a KWID, they should know everything about it, and if it is ok with their requirement and budget they will go for it no matter what.

Our concerns on KWID are well documented on the review you posted. Shan and Phetti have already bought the vehicle; they can't switch to another vehicle even if they wanted to.

I think your review is informative enough to educate any prospective buyer of the KWID on pros and cons of the said vehicle.

I never understood somethings in these thread. I dont want to switch to another vehicle even if I had a chance. People are waiting in Q's to get this car.

There are some good vibes about this car, well in these threads there are many things that's said to educated "car"buyers. But my threads were targeted to kwid buyers.

however now I see this as a good thing

My advance is non-refundable, but I have the option to order some other car from AMW, provided there is a buyer for the colour & option I ordered. But, still I will stand by my decision and am looking forward to take delivery of the Kwid. It's a love affair with the car, after all. Anything is fair in love and war.
