University is a place where curious minds gather together to discover what's going on in the universe. in universities they discuss physics, chemistry, mathematics, zoology, geology, art, history and similar academic disciplines.

There's a bad trend coming into the universities these days.. instead of having discussions about universal matters they have started teaching bullcrap like marketing, business management and shit.


first we must cleanse our of bullshit subjects and reintroduce the original university tradition that gave rise to the pioneers of mankind like Newton and Maxwell..

We Sri Lankans have mistook the meaning of universities to university colleges. Our people consider universities to be degree producing machines. It has to change.

It's good to have Private universities. But government should monitor its activities for quality control purposes. So I would say 100% private institutions won't be a good idea. Specifically if you talk about PVT uni like SAITM, then all students whom pass out by SAITM should sit for government exams to check their eligibility to become registered doctor.

So simply giving YES or NO to your question won't give you a clear answer.
