A new Metro game is coming in 2017
The final book in the Metro trilogy is available to pre-order now and the Metro website has been updated accordingly. Nothing strange about that.You can scroll down the timeline on the page to see how the books and games fit together, and – oh! What’s this?

4A Games has been working on two projects, and in an open letter on their website teased that Arktika.1 (remember those sci-fi screenshots they shared last month?) “is one of TWO projects in development right now.”
If we’re looking at a 2017 release, the other one has got to be Metro. Right?.In the meantime, we’ll just have to wait for official confirmation from the studio or Deep Silver.

Deep Silver: The next Metro game won’t be released in 2017Yesterday we informed you about the next Metro game that was reported to be coming in 2017. As we said in our article, that seemed unlikely. After all, we haven’t seen anything yet about this Metro game. And it appears we were right.
Deep Silver issued a statement, claiming that a new Metro game is indeed under development. And as we predicted, this new Metro game won’t be released next year.
“As the exclusive rights holder to videogames set in the Metro 2033 universe, Deep Silver has ambitious plans for the hugely successful Metro series.” reads the statement and continues:
“But just to manage our fans’ expectations – releasing the next Metro game in 2017 is not one of them.”
Deep Silver concluded that it will share more news in the future about this Metro game.
