Peepers everywhere
Long ago (sometime in 1980's ) I went to Katharagama with friends. One of my friends' relative was a SI in the police, and he organize accommodation (WISHRAAMA SHAALAA) place for us. The caretaker of that place was very helpful, so we invite him for a drink in the night. After 2/3 drinks he opens up his heart and starts to TALK.
He is a peeping king. None of us interested about peeping, but we have to listen to him and show him some respect because we going stay there for few days. He took us around the place, and show us the things he had put on places to facilitate peeping.
Most windows are fixed glass windows along the corridor, and painted from inside to make it obscure. This man scratch the paint in places (from inside) right opposite the bed, and make sure to keep that area dark, but have bright lights in the other side (this is done with a L shaped corners, one side wall have bright light, the other dark with the peeping hole).
Not only that, this man said he usually send couples with young / beautiful girls in to those selected rooms to watch them, during the night. He is a short man, so he even place some bricks in the corridor, to have a better view through the peep hole.
I am telling you this story to be vigilant, and always make sure to have enough privacy when you staying in rented accommodation, because such sickos are everywhere, even this post is proof to that.
