අපේ අයිය ගියා දුවත් එක්ක. මං තාම යන්න ප්ලෑන් කරන්නෙ නැත්තෙ අම්මල මෙහෙ දාල යන්න බෑ කීයටවත්. බලමු ඉස්සරහට. තරමක් ගානක් හොයාගෙන කට්ටිය එක්කම යනවා යන්න මේ මොංගල් යක්කු පාලනය කරන රටින්. මේක තව මොංගල් ගැහුවොත්.

im trying that too machan...theres a huge waiting list for parents pr if u apply the normal way...over 10 years....u can pay up and do their pr but it takes about 50 lacks for 1 parent.

I think the best way is earning abroad and coming back and living here.
first read every bit of immi.gov.au site. Every year on june 30th australian govt release the demanding list of occupations. its in the site and get an idea about if your role is there and what are the roles and responsibilities in your occupation.
Then go an meet an agent. he should be specialized in PR for AUS and NZ. I went to australian migration centre nugegoda. book an appointment and meet him there and being ur cv along with u. he will tell u if he can take ur case or not and will brief the process. fisrt consultation is free
If you wish to proceed on, pay up 60,000 and start the process. You will need to pay another 70k to do your skill assessment. for that they will give you a letter of template that you need to amend accordingly to suit your role and get it signed by your boss in your company. Thats pretty important because at the end of the process they gonna call this guy and get to know about the roles and duties you have done so make sure to get signed by one of a person that you know well and willing to help you.
Skill assessment will take about 4 months and in the mean time you need to be ready with ielts results. as soon as u start the process u need to start doing ielts. if u are thru with the skill assessment, aus govt will send your agent a letter saying that u are thru and they will pass it on to you. Now the hard part is over and 75% sure that you are gonna get the pr.
Now pay up another 30k to start the EOI. its done thru a computer system so u need to pay with your credit card at the agents premisses. it'll take another 2 weeks. (this is the process of going thru independent visa subclass 189. for 190 and 489 the process is different okay?)
After they receive the EOI u have to apply for the visa.. for that u need to pay up around 7 lacks depending on how many dependants you request for your visa. in my case I had to pay up 990,000 for me my wife and kid.
At this stage or at EOI stage u will have to submit all your documents. Degree certificate, translated birth certificate, passport copies, photos of each applicant, degree transcripts, job offering letters, pay slips, bank statements of the corresponding payslips dates...pretty much everything. They want it in scanned format.
Thats pretty much everything. you have to wait another 3-4 months and they will request you to do a medical checkup.. that would cost you (in my case all 3 of us) 25,000 at hemas.
You will get the visa and thats it
To the people who thinking about getting consultation from Australian Migration Center(AMC), think twise before you do it.
Applying for PR is a hectic process , I know.
But We don't have to pay unreasonable amount (8 lacks) of money to just fill an online form and submit.
Everything you need to know is in gov.au websites. read them and follow the guidelines. also expat forum is also a good source for knowledge sharing.
One other thing, one of my friend last year consulted them and initially they said he can get PR visa. So he paid 50000 and then again paid 20000. But after that AMC made the processing very slow. They will never say you cannot get PR. Instead they'll ask for more money. So my friend ask a refund and they did not comply for his request. My friend had to take some legal actions to get back his 70000. (He reported the case to AMC to border.gov.au).
After this incident My friend and I researched a bit and applied on our own. I didn't get the PR but my Friend did. I did the same process for Canada PR and got it.
So please be careful with those agents. You are just a monthly target for them.
