They gave SL RM-70 MRLS. Before the Czech armaments arrived, the Pakistani launchers were largely responsible for halting LTTES unceasing waves -3 operation from breaking the Muhamalei/Nagarkovil defence line.
If they were not there, the lives of 30000 SLA personnel would have been at the mercy of Prabhakaran.

And the first few uses of these MRLS were demonstrated by Pakistani soldiers who were on site, not by SLA.
And Pakistan didn't just provide rockets.
They were one of the very few countries who provided us with offensive weaponry along with Chine and Russia.
Pakistan even repaired our mi-24 gunships and C130 Hercules transports when other countries refused spare parts.
