Irans Air Force is not a threat to the USAF - their most modern fighter seem to be the Mig-29.
Their air defense even with the assumption of having S400, does not have the ability to last more than the first leg of a US lead aerial attack. It will be a costly operation to the US in the first few days until at least the S300 batteries are taken out, but after that USAF will just crush them.
Iranian ground troops are experts in hybrid warfare. A ground invasion against Iran would be challenging but I doubt if the US will even want to go there.
