Not only the temperature , the Relative Humidity (RH) plays an important part.
I did mention this a long time ago.
Studies with SARS has shown that the behaviour of RH effects are weird. It's not a monotonic relationship. The virus had a greater survival effect at low RH (20%) and at high RH (80%) than at moderate RH (50%).
Also droplet formation, size and evaporation depends on the RH too. Note that the larger droplets fall quickly, below our nasal height, thereafter they stay active on surfaces. But also note that the larger droplets have a larger momentum, thus radiating a longer axial distance.
The finer droplets will stay at the same original vertical height for some time.

It's hard to explain the mechanics of this easily. It's not a good idea to depend on warm temperature hopes.
