You would probably have read that G6PD deficiency can relate to Covid susceptibilty. Certainly oral medications could have undesirable consequences and have been reported. For eg Chloroquine is reported unsafe. But these patients have other health complications, so it's not the norm. Also the studies are inconclusive.

You raised a good question. There are more than 500 Million people worldwide with G6PD deficiency. There is no specific answer from the vaccine developers. But I am quite positive that I have read somewhere that the Pfizer vaccine has no relevant contraindications.
If I get to know anything, will update the post. Sent an email couple of contacts in the UK on what the guidelines there.

රටටම free දෙන්න තමයි ප්ලෑන් එක යන්නෙ. ඕක දැනට commercially available නැහැ.

Thanks mate, Yup can't get certain medicines and I'll keep G6PD card with me all the time.

I contacted the Oxford vaccine team and they didn't exactly answer the query stating that "The Oxford Vaccine Group cannot provide medical advice and can only recommend that the patient to contact his own GP regarding any concerns for health."
However, they did send me some information that did not specifically address your concerns but your condition is not listed as a contra-indication.

Then I did contact two of my friends who are Consultants with the UK Health system and both of them currently look after the Covid ICU patients. They said that the vaccine is given to patients who are in the same circumstances as yourself.
