The Russians have been struggling for one week to capture the town of Karkhiv which is 40 km from the Russian border, and have lost 25 combat aircraft so far.

Putin was caught naked.

NATO is a sleeping giant, and even China doesn't want war. Putin knows that, the moment NATO forces are sent, they are finished.
The Russian economy has been struggling since 2016, and moreso now because of COVID. It is further stagnating because of this useless war.

I think this will be a big blow for Putin.
