Only {Country_Name} residents can hold their money, others money will be converted. (But also you have to prove your an resident immediately .)

But as of now If you are doing a job abroad (have an employment visa) they will not convert. If you are doing free lancing or working on contract for a foreign company from SL but getting paid in foreign currency, then they will convert it. This has been the case for a few months now. Nothing new. Shit is called export proceeds.

Yes , what ever $ comes gov take them . Better to get much as black market $ euro notes and keep them at house . Do not think about rate take ruppies out and take black market ones . In one point you can sell them to someones hand on profit .

Send your $ to offshore accounts and keep them out of SL if you dont want to convert them . Try wise like accounts (no idea if SL people can open acc now but try )
