Realty of undiyal -
When you are using undiyal ,you can have benefit 20-25 rupees per doller to your family .but net effect is negative since local currency went up more than you are benefitted.
Eg- bread was 60/- now it is 170/-
Dhal was 160/- now 640/-
These were increased many times than doller rupee exchange rate.
So ultimately who promoted and sent thru undiyal made huge loss to them and country also

not entirely true, more corruption, more looting, making of ministers houses, this needs to be eliminated, shiranthi stayed in one of the most lavish hotels, basil and gota and there whole family misused govt resources, still dhal would be 640, as long as those thieves are in power.
I m not want to protect these corrupted one. Even in UK ,Korea these theft happened but there should be a system. But get my point you always at loosing end when u sent thru undiyal at this situation .
We have excessive corruption, mr 10% basil has stolen billions, all court cases are dismissed, mahinda is accused of stealing billions, we all know there is corruption and looting in front of our eyes, namals watch collection alone is worth billions, the uk and Korea corruption rating is low, do you know what’s the corruption rating in Sri Lanka?
